YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Nationally known entertainers Joey Fatone, formerly with *NSYNC and recently on TV's "Dancing with the Stars," and Guy Fieri, host of four popular Food Network shows, will make personal appearances at the Youngstown Phantoms home game at the Covelli Centre in downtown Youngstown this Friday night, Nov. 13, at 7:15 p.m. Phantom fans will have the opportunity to meet and greet both Fatone and Fieri at the Phantoms game, which will mark the first trip to the Valley by either star. Fatone, who burst onto the national scene more than a decade ago as a member of pop music supergroup *NSYNC, broadened his appeal with his role in the 2002 blockbuster film "My Big Fat Greek Wedding." His recent work includes a successful and lengthy stint on the reality TV hit "Dancing with the Stars" in the spring of 2007. sourceTags: joey

A quick life update- I am unemployed. I quit my job because it was literally driving me crazy and making me completely miserable, among other things. Interviews have been trickling in, slowly, and I am hopeful that this situation will not last long. Fingers crossed, prayers in progress, but still- I think this will all work out okay. I have a few things coming up this week to keep me busy, so there's that. Disney marathon in January. Still not sure how I'm going to pull this one off, but yesterday was an 8 miler that was accomplished with minimal walking (less than anticipated), and a decent 6 mile loop from my house that I will likely be trying out over the next week or so. Upcoming big races, I think, include a half in February and May, and possibly the Chicago marathon in October. Boston has been passed on this year, but we'll see, I guess. Right now I am cooking. I have a chicken roasting in the oven, a large package of ground turkey split up into 8oz foil packages for easier freezing/defrosting, and a meatloaf in progress. Also today will be veggie chili, and I think the chicken carcass and dark meat will be soup later on. Possibly as well is beef stew- jewelianna made an amazing beef stew that she brought to my house when I was in the midst of my funk that resulted in quitting of my (now-previous) job and it was delicious. It seemed simple enough, really, so I think I may give it a whirl soon. What else can you do with dark meat chicken? I was always a big white meat fan. How have you been, internets? how i'm feeling: mellow in my head: 'Scrubs' on TV

From our favorite big-mouth: "Oh, let's all cheer up because A-Rod's come full circle now. He's got his ring, he's complete, blah, blah, blah, whatever. Listen, they're used to it, and they have to accept the fact that no one outside New York is even remotely happy today. OK, the Yankees won. Move on. When does spring training start? When do we sign free agents?" Oh, Curt. No one outside NY is even remotely happy? Yes, please continue to stand behind that as you watch a bar in BOSTON get owned by Yankees fans: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NeiaQ9GHAeA (Note: You know its Boston because there are Bruins jerseys hanging all over the place) And, what, does he actually think all 50 states throw a parade when the Sox win? BOOHOOOHOOOHOOO THE YANKEES ARE SO POWERFUL BOOHOOHOOHOOHOO FUCKING CHAMPS! WHO'S STILL PUMPED? BECAUSE I AM.
